Who has not found themselves singing, humming, or whistling music that has received high honors from the music and theatre industry? The Academy Award has been given to the best song since 1935. A Grammy Award has been given to the best song or best album since 1959, and Tony Awards have been given to the Best Musical since 1947. This program will include some of the most famous and lasting songs to receive awards and will surely include music that has been an important part of all of our lives.
The 90-minute program will be without intermission.
